Product Manager

ShowClix is seeking a dynamic Product Manager who gets excited about the idea of working closely with muliple teams across the organization to build and release phenomenal product!

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and account to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The role also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.  The Product Manager will perform on-going win/loss analysis to better understand the features that are required for improved sales success. This includes ongoing assessment within the context of the competitive landscape.  Based on market-driven feedback from customers and prospects, the PM will write clear product requirements.

The Product Manager will build products from existing ideas, help to develop new ideas based on an understanding of market problems, and find innovative solutions for the those problems. The Product Manager will work across the entirety of the organization.  This will include, working with engineering to define product release requirements, working with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer, and serving as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research
  • Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Engineering and Marketing) through market requirements and positioning.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Act as a leader within the company

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Product Manage
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent product
  • 4+ years of experience in a job in a software related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
